I. General Provisions
- Scope of Application: (1) These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between you and YOGA VIHAR (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”) regarding the use of our services, including in-person and online courses, training and continuing education programs, retreats, trips, Ayurvedic treatments, consultations, and private lessons. (2) Consumers are natural persons who enter into a legal transaction predominantly for purposes that are not related to their professional or commercial activities. Businesses are persons or companies that, when entering into a contract, are acting in the course of their professional activities. (3) By registering, you automatically accept these Terms and Conditions.
- Contract Conclusion: (1) The offers on our website constitute a binding offer to conclude a contract. (2) The contract is concluded upon your written registration (e.g., email) and our acceptance. (3) In the case of telephone registration, written confirmation must be submitted no later than the first lesson. (4) All communications are generally sent by email. You must ensure you have a valid email address.
- Service Provision: (1) Courses and events will be held on the agreed dates; changes will be communicated in a timely manner. (2) Minimum participant numbers apply to each course. If these are not reached, we will inform you 3 days before the start and refund any payments already made. (3) In the event of short-notice cancellation by the instructor, individual events will be refunded or multi-part courses will be rescheduled. (4) Other expenses (e.g., travel or accommodation costs) will not be reimbursed. (5) House rules must be observed. (6) Price changes will be announced at least two weeks in advance; tickets already purchased remain valid. (7) Course offerings and opening hours are subject to change; we are closed on public holidays.
- Cancellation by Yoga Vihar: (1) Cancellation is possible if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if the instructor is unavailable. (2) Prepaid fees will be refunded. (3) No other costs will be covered.
- Cancellation by participants: (1) Cancellation must be in writing (e.g., email). (2) Up to 8 days before the course begins: full credit for other courses. (3) 7 days before the course begins: 50% credit. (4) No refund after the course has started. (5) For retreats/trips/training courses, the following applies: <20 days: no refund, 20-30 days: 40%, >31 days: 60%. (6) The statutory right of withdrawal according to §312g of the German Civil Code (BGB) does not apply.

- Prices and Payment Terms (1) The price is due upon conclusion of the contract. (2) Payments are made by bank transfer or cash. (3) Course fees are due 20 days before the start of the course; training courses, trips, and retreats are due 30 days in advance. (4) For trips abroad: individual arrangements apply; the deposit is refundable if the trip is cancelled. (5) Payment is required on-site before the start of the course.
- Health (1) Personal responsibility for one’s health. (2) Participation at one’s own risk; medical advice recommended.
- Liability (1) No liability for lost items. (2) No liability for injuries or damages.
- (1) Cancellation of lessons : Substitution will be organized; cancellation does not entitle the student to a reduction in fees or compensation.
- Annual memberships – Personal, 1-year term, no automatic renewal. – In case of illness lasting more than 4 weeks, an extension is possible with a doctor’s certificate.
- Course passes – Multi-session passes: limited in time, non-transferable, no refunds. – In-person course 10-session pass: 6 months, 30-session pass: 12 months. – Online/in-person courses: valid only for the booked period, non-transferable.
